Broadband Speed Guide

Broadband Speed Guide

With our advanced Streaming+ fiber peering connection to popular services like Amazon Prime/AWS, Apple+, Netflix, and more, Rocky Mountain Internet provides high speed broadband Internet suitable for web browsing, real time communication like VOIP and Zoom, streaming video and gaming.

Broadband speed is measured in Megabits Per Second (Mbps). This is more similar to water flow through a pipe or straw. A larger pipe lets you do more at one time, such as multiple streams or a mix of activities.

Below are the minimum standards specified by each streaming service to help you determine the service level you need. For example, our 40 Mpbs Home service can support a single 4K stream or up to 6 standard definition (1080p FHD) streams at the same time.
